Journey by air to the city of Calgary, Alberta to begin an adventure through some of the most stunning scenery on earth. Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Canadian Rockies, Calgary is known as the “city of glass and steel”, the economic heart of Alberta’s oil and gas industry. After checking into our hotel, we’ll join our fellow tour members for a get-acquainted dinner at Sky 360, a revolving restaurant sitting atop the Calgary Tower with views of the city’s stunning skyline. Today, we’ll drive west into the majesty of the Canadian Rockies. Board the Lake Louise sightseeing gondola for breathtaking panoramic views of Banff National Park.  Keep your eyes open for grizzly bears and other wildlife while atop the viewing platform.  After lunch, we visit Lake Louise, one of the most exquisite settings in Canada before continuing to Moraine Lake, set in the rugged Valley of the Ten Peaks and is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and rock piles, creating a scene so stunning it almost seems unreal. The Lake Louise Inn will be our home for the next two nights. Meals: B, L

Journey to Jasper National Park, via the Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic roads in all of North America! Drive through soaring rocky mountain peaks, icefields, and vast sweeping valleys. Get a closer look aboard the huge Ice Explorer for a guided tour of a glacier and take in the photo-worthy views. On our return to Banff, we’ll stop to view the pristine, aquamarine waters of Bow Lake and Peyto Lake. Enjoy dinner at the hotel tonight. Meals: B, D

Depart hotel mid-morning via the TransCanada Highway, crossing the Continental Divide into Yoho National Park to see the awe-inspiring Spiral Tunnels and Natural Bridge. Have lunch at Emerald Lake Lodge and visit the magnificent Takakkaw Falls. Check into our hotel in Banff, our home for the next two nights. Enjoy the evening on your own. Meals: B, L

In the morning, we’ll take a Bow River Float excursion encountering excellent views of Sleeping Buffalo and the Cascade and Rundle Mountains. The natural scenery is fantastic with water birds and wildflowers on the banks of the river.  Explore the culture shaped by the Rocky Mountain landscape at the Whyte Museum with exhibits on the creation of the national park, history of the Rockies, and wonderful paintings and sculptures by local artisans.  The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore Banff on your own. The morning is yours to enjoy a leisurely late breakfast, breathe in the fresh mountain air, or wander one of the trails near the Bow River. Later, we travel to Calgary where we'll visit the Heritage Park Historical Village on the banks of the beautiful Glenmore Reservoir. Heritage Park is the largest living history museum connecting guests with the history of the Canadian west. Enjoy a farewell dinner together at the hotel. Meals: B, D

Today we travel to the airport for our flight home. Tonight, we'll sleep in our own beds with dreams of the great memories and good times we've enjoyed together. Meals: B
