Break away from the winter doldrums with this sunny Florida escape! Arrive in the coastal city of Miami and board our deluxe motorcoach for a short drive to the Hotel Riu Plaza, our home for the next two nights. In the evening, we’ll get to know each other over a delicious welcome dinner in South Beach. Meals: D

After breakfast, we’ll take a guided Miami city tour highlighting the Wynwood Art district, consisting of several blocks of incredible, world-renowned murals, and Little Havana, known for its great food, awesome cigars, friendly people, and lively music. After lunch on your own, we’ll embark on a 90-minute cruise through Biscayne Bay with unparalleled views of the Miami coastline and stunning million-dollar homes. We’ll return to the hotel by mid-afternoon where the rest of the day is yours to explore on your own. Feel free to take in the sights and sounds of lively South Beach, relax poolside, or take a short walk to the nearby beach. Meals: B

We’ll spend the day focusing on the beauty and wildlife of Everglades National Park. We’ll drive from Miami to the Shark Valley Visitor Center in Everglades National Park. The Everglades boast 1.5 million acres of protected wetlands and is home to a variety of wildlife including flamingos, turtles, herons, alligators, and more. Enjoy a unique and educational tram tour through the Shark Valley area and view tranquil vistas atop the Everglades observation deck. After a short drive, we’ll break for lunch before heading to our home for the next two nights, the Hawks Cay Resort. After checking into the hotel, we’ll gather together for dinner and learn more about the amazing features this resort has to offer. Meals: B, L, D

Today is all about leisure and relaxation. Hawks Cay Beach is located on a small, secluded island of Duck Key, where aquamarine waters sparkle under the South Florida sun, bottlenose dolphins readily greet guests, and visitors and locals alike discover the best seaside dining, coastal living, and aquatic adventures. Enjoy an entire day on your own to explore Hawks Cay Resort’s many amenities including five pools, kayaking in the private lagoon, spa, tennis, snorkeling charters, and more. Meals: B

After departing Hawks Cay Resort, we’ll drive across the famous Seven Mile Bridge, with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean with speed boats zipping on the blue water and herons flying overhead. Arriving in Key West, we’ll spend time exploring Truman’s Little White House Museum, Florida’s only presidential museum, and the Hemmingway House and Museum, where author Ernest Hemingway wrote some of his greatest literary works and is also famous for the many polydactyl “Hemingway cats” that stroll the grounds. We’ll then travel to Zachary Taylor State Park, the southernmost point in the continental US, centered around a Civil War-era fort. After checking into our hotel, enjoy the evening on your own. Spend the day exploring Key West as you wish! Take advantage of the hotel shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. Key West offers art galleries, land and sea-based activities, a buzzing food and beverage scene, unique shopping boutiques, and so much more. Don’t forget to savor a piece of key lime pie or eat fresh, off-the-boat seafood while you are out exploring! We’ll gather in the evening for a special farewell dinner. Meals: B, D
