Your idyllic Aegean escape begins in the majestic city of Athens, known as the birthplace of democracy, and ranked one of the ten most beautiful cities in the world. We’ll take a brief Athen’s city tour on our way to our centrally located hotel. We’ll gather for a welcome dinner to get to know our fellow travelers. Meals: D

After breakfast, we’ll visit the Acropolis, the once mighty citadel overlooking Athens, and the Parthenon, the ancient temple honoring the Greek goddess, Athena. Spend time at the Acropolis Museum, housing the archeological findings from the Athenian Acropolis, showcasing the history and culture of ancient Greece. The remainder of the day is yours to explore Athens on your won. Meals: B

Begin the morning with a visit to Corinth, once a center of ancient trade, to see the impressive ancient ruins and view the spectacular and steep Corinth Canal. Learn about the meticulous olive harvesting process as we sample the buttery, smooth extra virgin olive oil made in the Corinth area. We’ll head to the harbor’s edge to embark on the outstanding Celestyal Journey cruise ship with delicious dining options, a lively casino, nightly entertainment, a soothing spa, and so much more. The dynamic beach resort of Kusadasi welcomes you with its warm and friendly ambience. From here we’ll be whisked away for a guided tour around the ancient city of Ephesus, known for its well-preserved ruins, as a Christian pilgrimage site, and as the former site of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Wander this fabulous open air archeological wonder to see the Agora, Odeon, the Library of Celsus, Trajan’s Fountain, and the Baths of Scholastica. Meals: B, L, D

Today we travel to the island of Rhodes with stunning landscapes, dramatic ancient and historic sites, and charming hillside villages. Spend time on your own visiting the majestic medieval fortification of the Acropolis at Lindos or wandering the cobbled alleyways of Old Town with its opulent, medieval architecture. Meals: B, L, D

The largest island in Greece, Crete is a diverse and vibrant land packed with ancient ruins, buzzing cities, and breathtaking beaches. We arrive at the port of Agios Nikolaos, a charming seaside resort town overlooking the blue waters of the Bay of Mirabello. The day is yours to discover Crete’s ancient history, hear mythological stories of the Minotaur, or wander the coastal villages and seaside beaches. Spend the evening on board the ship enjoying a delicious dinner or dancing the night away in the club. Meals: B, L, D

The romantic island of Santorini is instantly recognizable for its multicolored cliffs soaring out of a sea-drowned volcanic crater. Today we’ll discover the “essence of Santorini” as we head out to Mount Profitis Ilias Monastery sitting atop the hill with stunning panoramic views of Santorini and the blue waters of the sea. We’ll visit the magical coastal town of Oia, known for its labyrinth-like alleys, stunning sunsets, and blue-domed churches. Enjoy a wine tasting at one of Santorini’s exclusive wineries before ending our excursion in Fira, a vision of pristine whitewashed buildings built into dramatic, rugged cliffs that slope into the sea, then make our way down to the harbor via cable car. The sun-drenched island of Mykonos is affectionately known as the “Island of the Winds”. Easily recognized by its iconic 16th century windmills perched high on the hill, the vibrant Mykonos Town is an alluring landscape of smooth sandy beaches dotted along a dramatic coastline. The volcanic origins of the beautiful Greek island of Milos are clearly evident in its complex and bewitching landscape.
