  • Upon arrival in London, we’ll take a panoramic tour of London seeing some of the city’s iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, Parliament, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. Enjoy a welcome dinner and get to know one another. Meals: D

  • Explore the Tower of London, an iconic fortress, royal palace, and infamous prison. This World Heritage Site is home to the dazzling Crown Jewels, comprised of more than 100 objects and over 23,000 gemstones. The remainder of the day is yours to explore bustling London on your own. Meals: B

  • Today is about discovering how the British royals lived. We begin at Hampton Court Palace, to experience the public dramas and private lives of Henry VIII, his wives, and children. Admire Henry’s Great Hall and Tudor kitchens, spectacular baroque palace, and magnificent gardens. We’ll travel to Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. See the colossal Waterloo Chamber, magnificent Crimson Drawing Room, and impressive Grand Staircase. Tonight, we’ll dine together at a local restaurant. Meals: B, D

  • Experience the imposing stone monoliths and mysteries of Stonehenge, a powerful testament to human ingenuity, imagination, and creativity. We’ll enjoy a lovely lunch in the medieval city of Salisbury before taking a panoramic tour of the city’s historic city center, ornate cathedral and spire, and centuries-old historic settlements. In Bath, we’ll explore the Roman thermal springs spas where Romans came to worship the goddess Sulis Minerva. We’ll walk the original Roman pavements and see the ruins and ancient artifacts of these healing baths. Meals: B, L

  • A masterpiece of Baroque architecture, Blenheim Palace provides an awe-inspiring experience. Home to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the gilded state rooms, priceless tapestries, exquisite artwork, and stunning gardens. Spend some leisure time on your own exploring the picturesque villages of Cotswolds. View the amazing collection of Old Master paintings at Oxford University’s Christ Church, and explore Bodleian Library, one of the oldest libraries in Europe housing over 13 million printed items.   • At the Jorvik Viking Center, we’ll take a journey through the reconstruction of Viking Age streets and experience life as it would have been in 10th century York. In the evening, we’ll check into our hotel in York and then enjoy a scrumptious three-course meal together. Meal: B, D

  • After breakfast, we’ll take a self-guided tour of the York Minister with exquisite, handcrafted stone, unrivalled medieval stained glass, and soaring ceilings. We’ll take a break for lunch at a local restaurant before moving on to Bramburgh Castle, sitting above the Northumberland coastline for over 1400 years. View the unique collection of artwork and ceramics and learn about the history, legends, and myths of this outstanding castle. Meals: B, L

  • Set high above on the hills, Edinburgh Castle provides stunning views on all sides with green hills, hints of the blue sea, and silhouettes of the buildings and red cliffs. We’ll walk in the footsteps of soldiers, kings, and queens as we tour Edinburgh Castle with its long history as a royal residence, military garrison, prison, and fortress. After lunch together, we’ll explore The Real Mary King’s Close, a unique warren of hidden streets and spaces shrouded in myths and mysteries. Cap off the evening with a traditional Scottish dinner and show. Meals: B, L, D

  • Known as the legendary setting for Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Glamis Castle is a living, breathing testimony to Scottish heritage and hospitality. Tour this architectural treasure and wander among the season flowers, formal Italian garden, and mixed woodlands. At the Highland Museum, actors and restored buildings bring history to life, showcasing how Scottish Highlanders built their homes, dressed, and worked the land. In the afternoon, we’ll take a whisky tour at a nearby distillery and sample this popular Scottish drink. Meals: B, D

  • Experience the powerfully emotive and atmospheric Culloden battlefield where the 1745 Jacobite Rising came to a tragic end. The Culloden Visitor Center features artifacts from both sides of the battle including weapons and interactive displays. We’ll cruise along the shores of Loch Ness from Dochgarroch Lock to Urquhart Castle. At the Loch Ness Center and Exhibition, learn about the “water beast” that sparked a monster media frenzy and created a global legend. Meals: B

  • In the morning, we’ll visit the Glencoe Visitor Center to view the towering mountains and natural beauty and learn about the tragic, haunting history of Glencoe in the heart of the Highlands. We’ll travel to Glasgow through Loch Lamond and the Trossachs National Park, with scenic stops along the way. After checking into our hotel in Glasgow, we’ll gather for a farewell dinner.
