We’ll get acquainted with the city of London through a panoramic city tour highlighting some of the most famous landmarks including the House of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and more. Enjoy a stroll through Hyde Park, known for its tranquil lakeside paths, waterfront cafes, and lush rose garden. Tonight, we’ll gather for a delicious welcome dinner. Meals: D

Today we venture out to the Tower of London, one of the most famous and well-preserved buildings in the world, and home to the dazzling Crown Jewels. Discover London by water as we cruise the Thames River. Enjoy lunch at an authentic British tavern before heading to Churchill War Rooms. Here we’ll discover the secret underground nerve center where Winston Churchill and his inner circle commanded during WWII. The evening is yours to explore London on your own. Meals: B, L

Enjoy a full day exploring London on your own. Take in a show on the West End, take in the breathtaking views of the city aboard the London Eye, witness the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, or visit one of London’s amazing museums. Meals: B

Travel under the English Channel aboard Europe’s high-speed Eurostar train, arriving in France where we’ll travel the countryside to the charming village of Giverny. We’ll visit the house and gardens of French impressionist painter Claude Monet. Immerse yourself in Monet’s recognizable scenery of bridges festooned with wisteria reflecting in the lily-covered water below. We’ll drive to Caen and enjoy a lovely dinner at our hotel. Meals: B, D

Today we explore the stories of World War II history. Hear the story of the brave paratroopers who landed in the church square of Sainte-Mere-Eglise. Visit Utah Beach and Omaha Beach, where remains of German bunkers still dot the coastline. We’ll pay our respects as we walk through the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, the final resting place for nearly 10,000 members of the US military. Step into the engrossing story told in the Bayeaux Tapestry of the conquest of England by William, Duke of Normandy in 1066. Enjoy some leisure time in Bayeaux’s historic city center. Meals: B

This morning we’ll visit the Caen Memorial Museum to explore WWII’s causes, consequences, key players, and decisive battles. Discover the pivotal military operations of D-Day landings and the Battle of Normandy that significantly contributed to the Allies defeat of Nazi forces in Europe. In the afternoon, sit back and relax as we travel the scenic French countryside to Paris, the “City of Lights.” Meals: B
