Begin the day in nearby Carson City, Nevada’s charming state capital. Explore the fascinating Nevada State Museum, where exhibits bring the Silver State’s rich mining and cultural heritage to life. Enjoy a guided stroll along the historic Kit Carson Trail, lined with elegant Victorian-era homes, and stop at the beautiful Nevada State Capitol building. This afternoon, travel back in time with a visit to legendary Virginia City, one of the West’s most famous mining towns. Enjoy free time for lunch on your own and wander the wooden sidewalks, unique shops, saloons, and historic landmarks that capture the spirit of the Old West.
