Fly to Salt Lake City for an unforgettable journey out west. After a city tour, we’ll check into our hotel for the night. Get acquainted with your fellow travelers during a delicious welcome dinner. Meals: D

After breakfast we will enjoy a live performance by the famous Tabernacle Choir. This weekly broadcast will not disappoint. Afterwards we’ll continue by motorcoach and travel north through the beautiful farmland and serene mountains of Idaho. Our home for one night will be in Idaho Falls, a quaint town nestled along the picturesque Snake River. After dinner, perhaps take a walk to see the waterfalls. Meals: B, D

This morning our route will take us north as we travel just to the west of the stunning Teton mountain range and through the gorgeous Targhee National Forest. We’ll make a short stop in the small town of West Yellowstone. Then, it will be time for us to enter Yellowstone National Park and explore its countless wonders. We’ll stop to see the most famous geyser of them all, Old Faithful. We’ll have the opportunity to walk along the boardwalk and explore the largest collection of hydrothermal features in the world. After a memorable visit to Old Faithful, we’ll journey north to witness more incredible geothermal activity at the Fountain Paint Pots. Return to West Yellowstone where we’ll check into our home for two nights. You’ll be perfectly situated to explore the town, relax, and enjoy dinner on your own. Meals: B

Start the day with a visit to the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center where we’ll have the opportunity to experience the world of grizzly bears and gray wolves in Yellowstone. We’ll also visit the Museum of the Yellowstone, housed in the former Union Pacific Railroad Depot. Exhibits cover the history of transportation from stagecoach to railroad and development of this historic district. Later this afternoon we’ll enjoy a unique Yellowstone excursion. After dividing into smaller groups accompanied by a local naturalist, we will venture back into Yellowstone National Park. Magnificent sights await us at Mammoth Hot Springs and as we continue east into the Lamar Valley. Gather for a picnic dinner as we watch the start of a beautiful sunset. Dusk is prime time to see wildlife in the park, so be on the lookout for bison, elk, moose, and perhaps a bear or wolves. After a memorable excursion, we will return to West Yellowstone to get some rest. Meals: B, D

Today we’ll see the magnificent Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and its thundering waterfall, the most breathtaking sight inside of the park. We’ll continue along the Yellowstone River through the Hayden Valley where herds of bison roam free. Enjoy views of Lake Yellowstone and the surrounding mountains along the way. Shortly after exiting Yellowstone, we will enter Grand Teton National Park. There is no doubt that we’ll marvel at the views as we stop for photos during our afternoon tour. A stop at Jenny Lake will be the perfect opportunity to take pictures and marvel at the Teton’s jagged peaks. Later, we’ll check into our rooms at the Jackson Lake Lodge for two nights. Meals: B, D

This is a beautiful place to wake up! There are several activities available for guests of the lodge and we have left the morning open should you decide to participate. Fishing, hiking, boating, horseback riding or floating the Snake River on a raft are some of the options. Others may decide to spend the day at the resort’s pool! Should anyone want to visit Jackson for lunch and shopping, we’ll shuttle there with the bus. We gather together this evening for a farewell dinner. Meals: B, D

After departing our hotel we’ll travel south through the Snake River Canyon and the Star Valley. Our eyes will focus on soaring mountains, majestic rivers, deep canyons, emerald forests, and more. Our adventure will come to an end as we arrive at the Salt Lake City airport for our flight home. Meals: B, L
