British Columbia Tour Daily Itinerary

  • Travel to Vancouver, a city with a thriving culinary scene, vibrant neighborhoods, and outstanding galleries and museums, as we begin our British Columbia adventure! After checking into our downtown hotel, we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner in this spectacular city. Meals: D

  • This morning, we’ll take a comprehensive tour of Vancouver with highlights including Gastown, known for its cobbled streets and stunning architecture, Stanley Park with its iconic sea wall, English Bay’s pristine beach, and stunning floral display at Queen Elizabeth Park. Enjoy lunch on your own at the Granville Island, with its lively and colorful public market…a perfect place to shop for gifts and food. The evening will be yours to explore this eclectic city on your own. Meals: B

  • Today we’ll travel along the picturesque Howe Sound on the Sea to Sky Highway on our way to Whistler, British Columbia. At Stawamus Chief Provincial Park, keep your binoculars handy to spot rock climbers scaling these gigantic granite monoliths that overlook the teal blue waters of Howe Sound. This world-renowned rock-climbing destination is also a critical nesting habitat for the endangered Peregrine falcon. At the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Center, experience distinctive carved house posts, canoes, spindle whorls, weavings, regalia, bold artwork, and artifacts of the First Nations. Learn about the First Nations’ intimate connection with the land during an interpretive forest walk via the Salish Stroll. Explore this quaint village, once the site of the downhill skiing and jumping competitions of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Meals: B, L

  • After boarding the BC Ferry, we’ll wind our way through the lush Gulf Islands where orca whales, eagles, and seals call home. We’ll visit the Buchart Gardens, a 55-acre utopia housing five breathtaking gardens. Dotted with stunning fountains and sculptures, these gardens create a symphony of spectacular colors as the flowers dance in the sunshine. After checking into the hotel, the evening is yours to explore the picturesque harbor or city center. Meals: B, D

  • Explore the beautiful city of Victoria on your own. The city has so much to offer that the hardest part will be deciding what to do. We suggest visiting the Royal British Columbia Museum, walking around the impeccably groomed grounds of the Fairmont Empress Hotel, taking a free public tour of the historical Parliament Building, or scheduling a whale watching tour. Victoria has a vibrant arts and cultural scene and is considered the most walkable city outside of the United States. Meals: B

  • Today we make our way to Seattle via the picturesque Olympic Peninsula with its rugged coastline, old-growth forests, and glacier-clad mountain peaks. We’ll board the Bainbridge ferry to cross Puget Sound with incredible views of downtown Seattle. Spend time at the must-see Chihuly Glass and Garden Museum with awe-inspiring colorful glass-blown sculptures and lush gardens. Enjoy a spectacular farewell dinner as we say goodbye to beautiful British Columbia. Meals: B, D

  • In the morning, we’ll walk to the iconic Pike Place Market, often considered the “soul of Seattle” with hundreds of craft and food stalls.  We’ll then head to the airport for our afternoon flight home. Meals: B
