Your idyllic Aegean escape begins in the majestic city of Athens, known as the birthplace of democracy, and ranked one of the ten most beautiful cities in the world. We’ll take an Athen’s city tour with a local guide highlighting this modern metropolis with its mix of old and new. After checking into our hotel, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner to get to know our fellow travelers. Meals: D

After breakfast, we’ll visit the Acropolis, the once mighty citadel overlooking Athens, and the Parthenon, the ancient temple honoring the Greek goddess, Athena. We’ll head to the harbor’s edge to embark on the outstanding Celestyal Journey Cruise Ship with delectable dining options, a lively casino, nightly entertainment, a soothing spa, and so much more. We travel to Thessaloniki, a gorgeous seaside city, with iconic monuments, delicious Greek food, and stunning ocean views. Considered to be Greece’s cultural capital, Thessaloniki has a vibrant cultural life, interesting history, and a beautiful seaside. Meals: B, L, D

The dynamic beach resort of Kusadasi welcomes you with its warm and friendly ambience. From here we’ll be whisked away for a guided tour around the ancient city of Ephesus, known for its well-preserved ruins, as a Christian pilgrimage site, and as the former site of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Wander this fabulous open air archeological wonder to see the Agora, Odeon, the Library of Celsus, Trajan’s Fountain, and the Baths of Scholastica. Finish the excursion shopping at the bazaar to find the perfect souvenir including ceramics, rugs, Turkish tea, spices, jewelry, and so much more. The largest island in Greece, Crete is a diverse and vibrant land packed with ancient ruins, buzzing cities, and breathtaking beaches. As our ship pulls into Crete, take a quick snapshot of the impressive 16th-century Koules Fortress, a two-story fortress that used to guard the entry to the port. The day is yours to discover Crete’s ancient history, hear mythological stories of the Minotaur, or wander the coastal villages and seaside beaches. The romantic island of Santorini, located in the very heart of the Aegean Sea, is instantly recognizable for its multicolored cliffs soaring out of a sea-drowned volcanic crater. Today we’ll discover the “essentials of Santorini” as we head out to Mount Profitis Ilias Monastery sitting atop the hill with stunning panoramic views of Santorini and the blue waters of the sea. We’ll visit the magical coastal town of Oia, known for its labyrinth-like alleys, stunning sunsets, and blue-domed churches. Enjoy a wine tasting at one of Santorini’s exclusive wineries before heading to the beautiful Byzantine Church of Panagia. Stroll the beaches of Kamari at the foot of the Mesa Vouno Mountains. We’ll end our excursion in Fira, a vision of pristine whitewashed buildings built into dramatic, rugged cliffs that slope into the sea, then make our way down to the harbor via cable car. The sun-drenched island of Mykonos is affectionately known as the “Island of the Winds”. Easily recognized by its iconic 16th century windmills perched high on the hill, the vibrant Mykonos Town is an alluring landscape of smooth sandy beaches dotted along a dramatic coastline. Tonight, enjoy a cocktail while strolling the ship’s deck, taking in the vibrant night sky with the luminous moon reflecting off the rippling waves. Meals: B, L, D

The volcanic origins of the beautiful Greek island of Milos are clearly evident in its complex and bewitching landscape. Here you have the opportunity to explore the dramatically surreal and sculptured looming rock formations that rise out of the crystalline waters and create the stunning coastline.
